Subrahmanya Sashti

Dear Devotees,

Sree Devi Peetham will be observing Subrahmanya Sashti, along with the sacred Bala Subrahmanyeswara Swami (Murugan) Utsava Vigraha Initiation.

Subrahmanya Sashti is a highly auspicious day dedicated to Lord Subrahmanya (Murugan), the divine son of Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati, revered as the remover of obstacles, granter of courage, protector from negativity, and bestower of knowledge, health, and spiritual strength.

This year’s Sashti celebration is especially significant as the Bala Subrahmanyeswara Swami Utsava Murthy will be initiated — a rare and spiritually powerful milestone for the temple.
